I like the AWSTAT counter but I never look at it... I just use the webilizer from
http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/
it is easy to read and it gets right to the point. Plus you can display all your stats with out giving away to much information to users to your site(if you are offering advertisement this is a good way to show your hits)
