Howdy everyone.

I just stumbled on this site while looking for somewhere to promote my new affiliate service and thought this looked like a good community to keep in touch with everything going on with the web.

The main page of the site looks great and has a great deal to offer. I hope to contribute to the quality of this site in any way I can.

Now, about me... Well, my real name is John Simpson (no my mother didn't name me borngamer at birth) and I'm almost 32 years old. I live in London, Ontario, Canada (now, with the aid of a phone book, you have enough information to have a professional mob style hit made on me).

I've been running game development related web services since 2000. For the last few years I have written a number of web based games for casino services and other web sites.

About 6 month's ago, I decided I wanted to pull away from the contract work and offer my games for free to websites. I've been working hard at doing so, and I've even put together an affiliate program so web sites can make money from my games. So far, I've got two games under my program, and I work every night trying to make more games.

borngamer is a name I came up with when my wife was pregnant with my daughter Sarah, and I decided to name my site after her in some way. I have used Sarah in my company logo and it has been so since I first opened the site in 2000.

By day, I work as a Software Analyst at a local hospital writing all sorts of cool clinical systems and reports. It give's me a great deal of satisfaction knowing that my work at the hospital helps people through tough times even though they may not know or understand the work I have done.

I do a fair bit of web programming in PHP, Flash and lately some JSP. I hope to eventually become an expert in JSP, but that's a little down the road.

Anyways, that's all I can think of right now. I'll do my best to be an active member of this community.
