In my forum, I have added the "File Attachment Mod" and everyone loved it.
We are all able to upload and show pictures without the hassle of having to host the pictures up on some server and then tagging it onto the forum to show it.
So I would recommend this Mod.

hmmm... OK, I'll look into it. I have installed this MOD before and it seems to work well. Maybe also the stats MOD...
Thanks!

I was installing the attachment MOD. I used the pre coded files and started uploading and when I finished I thought to myself "This files are coded for phpBB 2.0.3!!!!!" So the forum sort of STUFFED UP!
But all is fixed now.... *Sigh* now I have to code all the files myself... Maybe later

I believe that the latest version of the File Attachment Mod is 2.3.5 and its compatible with the phpBB 2.0.4.
You can get it here: http://www.opentools.de/board/viewtopic.php?t=262
But its fairly simple stuff. So if you have managed to get things running, I guess you don't need the latest version.
I read that phpBB version 2.2 will come with the file attachment as a default feature. Cool huh! I can't wait

Yes, I also can't wait for 2.2. I it will also have the sudforums feature too!
But the problem is that a lot of MODs(I think ALL of them) will not work on 2.2
Shame.....

I could take them forever to get 2.2 ready for release. I wouldn't hold my breath. Just work with what you have the best you can.
I have also heard that no mods will work with 2.2 but that remains to be seen. They said that few of them would work with 2.0.4 but I've got most of mine (46 of them) going just fine on a test forum.

46 MODS. Crazy... how do you do it? It must be insane if you upgrade forum versions because you will need to update the code for every MOD that you installed for it to work. :thumbsup for your hard work:
Anyway, from what I heard about 2.2, it will actually intergrate many of the MODs that we currently install separately. This will be easier on the newbies and also for us, webmasters. So I am actually looking forward for 2.2 because it will make my life much much easier, not to mention my site much more secure!

But the good thing is, that many of the good ones will be part of the 2.2 release...
One that I like for general use is the member hyperlink on the post page.
