I have never paid money to advertise this site... This is what I've done:
Submit To Search Engines
Optimize My Pages For Search Engines (You need to be listed in Search Engines!)
Advertised In Forums
Have A Newsletter
That's all I can think of at the moment :cheesygr:

Oh.... Well, to "Optimize Your Pages For Search Engines" you need to have meta tags, choose the right title, make sure all your site is search engine friendly etc.
I think you need to read some articles at:

about the google do you have to pu meta tags in the overall header??? for google to crawl to it????

it will be crawled anyway and any text that is on the page will be indexed as page content.
