What is your favourite promotion techniques?

My site is entirely word of mouth and via friends of friends.

So far the forum is quite active with around 100 people. Most of them visit everyday. :cheesygr:

I've found advertising on google gave quite a few visitors to my other site. And I've had so many hits from google!

Word of mouth and increasing our link popularity (with a view to better Google performance). It's the only kind of promotion we do, and it seems to work a treat.
