... make money from a website that dose not sell things but might in the next fue years?

Have good content, you'll get good search engine ranking, you'll get advertisers wanting to advertise on that website.

Takes time but you'll get there.

I agree with Ben, good content. You might also want to come up with a free booklet, ebook or some type of helpful tips to use as a give away. You could also write a newsletter and offer it for free, then when you finally start selling your products you will have individuals who are interested in what you have to say and are also interested in your product.

Good content is good tip Agree. And when you start selling things, you may make a custom toolbat, that will inform your clients about new goods, or help them to order a good and search trough your site. I think that would be helpful. But not right now, of course.
