I have a friend that says that having more then two commission levels is illegal... Is that correct?

e.g. This would be illigal:

Lvl 1: 50%
Lvl 2: 20%
Lvl 3: 10%
Lvl 4: 5%

As far as I know, pyramid schemes are illegal, but multi-level marketing is not. Multiple levels of commission are not illegal if done right.

This would be something you have to check with your local officials (tax, legal, and government) about. It's differant everywhere...
