Question Links that are not link - Does Google visit?

Hey guys,

I read somewhere that if I post a url on a page that isn't linked Google still visits the page... So for example, if I posted my link in my eBay store it would help my Google PR...

Is this true?

Google will follow URLs even if they aren't in a <a href=""> tag.

They only pass pagerank and count <a href=""> tag as real links though.

Hmmm... I don't know.

Because one of the keys to be indexed is to have actual hyper links to your site.
