How often does Google, Yahoo and MSN update? and do you know when the next updates are?

It depends on how popular the site is. The more popular, the more often it is updated. I don't think you can track any of the search engines update dates anymore.

well, my new site is indexed and on the second page of MSN. It's not even showing in google, but Yahoo has indexed it and shows that it has backlinks.

MSN always indexes my websites fast when I start a new one. Google can be pretty slow at times I've noticed.

That's quite right. MSN is getting better day by day and finds and indexes web pages much faster than Google and Yahoo at present.

In fact, they are gradually getting higher than Yahoo with the current trends.
