SEO Tatics Good or Bad?

I have designed a Classified service for British Columbia. I have tried to make it exactly like the local papers that we would buy in our local communitys. The website is done (with a few tweaks here and there), but i decided to take it a step further and make a real estate and auto section of my site on a sub domain. example: Abbotsford Classifieds and Abbotsford Real Estate Listings Now here is the question any thing that is posted on the classified site(real estate section) is also posted in the real estate site and the other way as well. Will i be penilized for this type of tactic? Cause some of the site on both sides will be mirrored. I am hoping that it wont as I dont want to change anything to much on the classified site and I really want to do this real estate listing as well. With the real estate it will offer anything you need to know about the real estate business from morgage calculaters to agents in your local town. So the only thing that would be mirrored would be the actual real estate residents have listed with us. If any one has any answers please let me know.

So are you asking ig you use exactly the same content in two sections of your website, will you be poenalized?

If that is the question I guess it depends. Can you give me link to an example of the same info on two seperate sections.

Abbotsford classifieds

Abbotsford Real Estate Listings

Both Websites have the same content Real estate content on them. There is currently only one house listed with this section so it will not show much but any time someone lists it will go onto both sites. I was hoping because all the other content is so different it might not matter.

I can't get a clear idea but I think it should be alright. If it's basically exactly the same content (same title, same description etc) then the SE's will probably ignore one of the pages.

ill try to explain in detail:

Abbotsford classifieds is a list of 258 catigorys for residents in abbotsford to list all the buy sell and trade items that they would like to sell. From announcements to Real estate.

Abbotsford real estate has just 12 categorys to list in. Anything to do with real estate. so poeple can list there houses with us to try to sell there homes.

the kicker is if they list it with our classified service they page will also be listed with the real estate service. If the list with the real estate service they will also be listed with the classified service. so the exact same content will be listed with both services. here is two links to give you a better understanding.
