I had a friend who used their online scan and it crashed his pc and gave him the dark blue screen of death

After restarting a couple of times it was all good again. But you should stay away from their scan for a little while.

I gave the scanner a test yesterday and it looks like it won't be crashing anymore computers

I use Trend Micro, but haven't had any problems.

Hopefully, it'll stay that way..
