Default form mail

hi,
i know almost exclusively html. I want the results of a form emailed to a certain address. right now i just have the action=mailto with a ?subject at the end. This is functinal, however, the formatting is poor and i cant really choose to hide any fields. every formmail.pl script ive tried to use has failed - but the scripts are from reliable sources. how do i set this up, beyond simply putting action="whatever.pl" Do i need to set permissions somehow like chmod? ive done this on unix, but dont know how on windows. please point me in the right direction. Thanks!!

Hi!

If I were you, I would use PHP. It doesn't require any permission and is easier to use.

I suggest you go to hotscripts.com for a good script:

Perl:

PHP:
