Default Help with php

Hi mr. tech i need some help. For some reason i think my host turned offf parse errors or something. Because parse errors don't display when there are some makes debugging a little difficult. I emailed my host and they say theres nothing wrong with it but it doesn't matter what computer i use the parse errors don't show up just a blank screen. Is there anyway i can turn them on again with a .htaccess file I'm not very good at those so i don't know what code to write in it.

Thanks

Viper
