Default Online document management

Am in a bit of a conundrum.

I am creating a manual for a product I'm working on and am looking for a LAMP solution to deliver it online. I don't want to pdf it cos it wil be updated on a regular basis.

I know I could do it in a CMS but that's overkill. I don't need a help desk solution as this is a how to manual, and I already use a help desk solution already.

Hope my query makes sense.

Any body know of something out there that I could use?

Hi Gaby,

A LAMP solution? I'm not familiar with that?

So basically you are wanting some software that will run your manual? Does it need to be a script or soemthing like a PDF file?

Linux
Apache
MySql
PHP

I don't want PDF

I'm looking for an outcome which is web page based with the ability for more than one contributor to the manual. I know this could be done with a CMS (content management system) but don't think we need to go that far.

I understand now. Would something like this do the job? It has an admin panel where you and anyone else could login... http://www.interspire.com/activekb/

As I have not used any software like this previously, I suggest you check out Hotscripts
