im running it right now at home on linux and it's great real fast not bad looking either not so cluttered and works way better than mozilla haven't figured out how to get java to work on it yet i installed the java plugin and pointed the browser to the java exeptable in preferences but when i view a webpage that has java it won't load the applet from the webpage. Flash player works fine just not java.

Greate browser everyone should try it out.

Yep, it seems very fast.

I tried loading a java appelt in the browser and I didn't have to install the java plugin. Worked already... Try going to http://www.opera.com/docs/plugins/ and install their java plugin...

Did some searching on browser speeds. Opera 8 seems to dominate firefox in some area:

I like its ability to load from a cold start really fast. Firefox is always a little slower then I would like. I suppose they'll fix that when the next version comes out.
