Thanks for the post, Tech. I've used several tweeking programs in the past but bar none my fav was WinXP Manager. I didn't see it listed but you can download a trial at BetaNews..

I'll download the trial and let you know what I think

I use a couple of programs like WinXP Manager.

HDCleaner (Free)
Ashampoo WinOptimizer Platinum Suite 2 ($49.99)

Hey Tech..

I've used Ashampoo too. Not familar with the other. However, if you do try WinXP Manager I think you'll find it actually does a lot more in terms of 'tweeking for performance' than Ashampoo..

I just installed it and I'm doing some scans now. It has some very handy little tools. It does have quite a lot of "tweaks"

LOL, I've got a lot of Junk files! According to their software results I've deleted 9,641.78 MB worth of junk files........
