Investor's Business Daily - A company has created a 3-D virtual chat room that lets users add chat to their social networking sites. The technology, created by startup Vivaty, turns a flat Facebook site into a live 3-D chat room. About 15 people can pick characters and enter the same room to chat. Similar services are offered by Second Life, but Vivaty users don't have to install any new software on their PCs and can just log on through a Web browser.
