It seems Firefox has really beaten Microsoft to the punch on this, but for those still using IE O'Reilley has a fairly detailed tutorial on tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer..

It is about time for them to bring out tabbed browsing because it is so handy and it is a great way for them to promote that toolbar of theirs...

My only problem with it is that it takes up two "toolbar spaces" decreasing the height of the screen. I like lots of room
