Default What is the cheapest hosting service

What is the cheapest hosting service you have come accross and is it worth buying through them. I myself pay $2.99 us a month. This includes 3 mysql data bases 3 domains, 30 sub domains, 300 emails, 1 gb memory, 5 gb traffic. Have you guys seen anything better out there?

That's pretty cheap for what you get. What sort of support do you get for that price?

I can't say I've seen anything cheaper. I prefer to pay a little more than that just for piece of mind when it comes to backup and support. I'm not sure what you get for $2.99.

the cheapest I seen is $0.85 for a year for 100mb. Those are from personal sellers I seen on entertainment forums.
They're people that own like personal sites/blogs that are selling some cheap space.

But for hostin company, cheapest was $2.50 a month.

These companies that offer huge packages for very little money seldomly last longer than a few months.

Also, never trust a company that offers Unlimited space or bandwidth. There is no such thing and if any of there customers actally tried to prove it, it would close the company down.

Always remember, with hosting you get what you pay for.

I'm not saying a $2.99/month account is crap, as we offer quality hosting for that price. However, a $2.99/month package with huge amounts of space and bandwidth surely isnt going to get you much in the way of service and support.

Favhost offers packages at $2.99 per month, but they are small packages suitable for personal webspace. This allows us to maximize our profits and still be able to offer 24/7/365 support and all the bells and whistles to go with it.

I've been in business for over 4 years and I've seen hundreds of the make-shift hosting companies go belly up because the offered these huge packages for pennies. Guess what happend to the customers when the company went belly-up?

Something to think about.
