Default SMF, MyBB or phpBB which do you prefer?

SMF, MyBB or phpBB which do you prefer? can you give examples of forums that are using them?

I personally haven't had any experience with SMF or MyBB. I have only hjeard of them recently. phpBB has been around for a long time.

From the, look of their support forums, SMF has a lot more posts than MyBB som I'm guessing SMF has been around longer.

I suggest you haver a quick look at the feature list of each one and see which one is better for what you are wanting to do.

I would say phpBB, it is open source, highly customizable, has good support, loads of mods and skins and alot of members.

phpBB is great but they do bring out a lot of versions (vicitim of it's own success really, too many people attacking it). SMF is fantastic for upgrading, you can just enter your FTP details and it does it all for you.

I've never used anything else than phpBB hoever i think vBulletin is the best forum script.
