Welcome to the forums Spokevin.

I've heard people say it is a waste of time and that you wouldn't need it for a job. I don't think you would need it to get a job and unless you really want to do it you probably shouldn't waste your time.

I have to agree. It does loom like a waste of time. If someone asks you if you are CIW certified you could "no, but here are some of the websites I've built/maintained..." etc etc
