Red face Adding content from one site to another?

Hi!

I've seen websites that allow me to add content from their website (such as top ten websites) and add it onto my page...

At http://www.ez-freebies.com/ it has code like this:

Copy and paste this code between your <head></head> tags.

<SCRIPT SRC="http://www.ez-freebies.com/portal.js">
</SCRIPT>

Copy and paste this code between your <body></body> tags, wherever you want the TOP 10 list to appear.

<Script language="JavaScript">
<!--
document.write(top10);
//-->
</Script>

I want to do that for my site. What would I need in the .js file to do so?

You need to save and open that portal.js file and reverse engineer it.

Basically you need something like this in your portal.js file:

var top10 = 'html goes here...'

And it will display it on your website

So how do I keep the content in the portal.js file up to date without having to do it manually? PHP?

Yes, PHP would be a good idea.
