The small image in the Address Bar is known as a
Favicon. The ideal size of a Favicon is 16x16 pixels.
The
HTML-Kit website has a free Favicon creator.
Create a 16x16 graphic, go to the
HTML-Kit website, browse your computer for the 16x16 pixel graphic you created and click the
Generate Favicon.ico button.
Once you download the Favicon.ico file, upload it to your websites home directory (where all your HTML files are located).
I've noticed that the favicon does not always display in Internet Explorer 6. The
FireFox browser always displays the Favicon.
