Dreamweaver. Becuase I'm not a HTML expert, Dreamweaver can help me do the things that would take me forever coding by hand.

I hand code in Visual InterDev. Much easier than fighting with WYSIWYG issues.

either. thogh im not that keen in the tags if i do it by hand. but i prefer the wysiwyg editor so i can instantly see the output

I don't like notepad. The undo function really sucks... Have a look at Metapad instead. basically the same thing but a lot more user friendly when it comes to undo and redo.

I prefer coding by hand thats why I use Notepad.
It took me allot of trial & error but I'm getting their.

I would say notepad too. It is an excellent tool for creating any text document including HTML files. You have a complete control over the layout and the HTML code that goes into the document.

I think another advantage of using notepad is it gives you a much clearer understanding of your code.
