Default JavaScript going server side?

I heard that JavaScript might be going server side!

If it does, it will be one of the best languages to use because you don't have to worry about older browser versions viewing your pages!

Any comments or news on this anyone?

Honestly, I do not see the point for JavaScript going server side because JSP is already a server side implementation.

My buddy uses .JSP all the time and its as powerful as it can get.
