Default Iframe problems with links and targets

Hallo everyone!

First off, I would just like to let everyone know that I am a youngin/newbee/novice/whatever you'd like to call me at web design. I just started building my free site on geocities, so I'm not that advanced.

Anyway, my problem is Iframes. On my main page, I have an iframe on the right side. It's source is another page with all my links. The problem is, I can't figure out how to make when I click the links in that Iframe open a whole new window. It just opens the page within the Iframe within my main page. When I click on the links, I want them to open a new window, but I can't figure out how.

I hope that made sense. I tried to use a _blank for target but it won't work.

Somebody please help me!!!

You musn't have linked to the link correctly with traget _blank. This is how it should look:

<a href="link.html" target="_blank">CLick here</a>

Hope that helps!
