Hi everyone,

Excuse me for asking some trivial questions here but I'm still a learner in many ways...I would like to insert some javascript in my site like a good search engine for my site, a 'bookmark us' plugin, a counter that can exclude my own visits to my site so I can be sure as to how many visits I had and some pollware. I'm still working with Frontpage which means that its add-ons are bad, and on the other hand i see much freeware around that is in effect, adware (they want their name on counters etc) or spyware (checking your traffic). Do you have any suggestions? Thanks;-)

Does it HAVE to be javascript or can it be plain HTML?

Website Search Engine:
Depending on how knowledgable you are with programming you could try some pre-made scripts: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Script...nes/index.html

Otherwise you could try some programs that don't require you to have any programming knowledge. I've tried atomz but it's no longer free. Try googling some of these.

Counter:
As for counters, I have never used one because I prefer no one but me seeing my website visits. Your host might offer website stats in your control panel. Otherwise I suggest looking through http://www.hotscripts.com/. Use their search function if your not sure where to look. Not sure how you can stop if from counting your own visits.

Pollware:
For a PHP poll try: http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Script...ing/index.html Not sure if you can get one in JavaScript. I couldn't find any.
