hello everybody, i have a site, it's not new (about 2 years old), but i just found this forum.

the site is in spanish, but any suggestion regarding the visual aspect of it is welcome

I am not sure why but your site loads very slowly for me. It took almost a whole minute to download your index page.

As for comments here are a few:

• The background image has got to go. It is too darn distracting.
• I am thinking that you are using the bottom frame for banners? How about you intergrate the banner into your pages instead of a frame? It will look nicer.
• I like your logo at the top. Its nice.

i suppose it loads so slow because it's a free web server which is not very reliable, but it's the best i could find when i created the web.

about the background image.... i spent a LOT of time trying to find a good one, but i couldn't. before this one there was one taken from the m$Office images, one with water droplets, modified to suit the webs dark/blue theme, but after some months i decided to try a new one. this was the best. i suppose i'll have to search for a better one :roll: .Any suggestions?

the bottom frame, yes i'm using it for banners. the reason why i don't integrate it with the rest is... hehe, that frame is not mine, is the one for the free-server's own banners... i just did a small javascript in order to change it's url to mine :cheesygr: nothing illegal anyway

and about the logo, i did it just for fun, because i wanted to learn macromedia fireworks... when i finished it i decided to really use it on the web

Not a bad site. I totally agree about the background... You probably need a lighter one or none at all... But if you do want a new one, you can get on for $10 here:

It loads slow for me as well, and I have a cable modem. It may be the frames causing it a problem. I am really new at all this though.

Loads fast here (but I hate commercial popups on those free host things).

Definately loose that background.

Also your header, it is very hard to read what is in there when you use such a font.

Your text content starts at the very edge, maybe make it so that you have a left and right margin to it.

Good base to start from, but needs some work.
