Default Need a review of AutomaticAffiliateWeapon.com

I've just created a web page for a free affiliate marketing newsletter. I'm looking for reviews on the layout, copy and graphics. How can I get more subscribers? Please be critical, it's the only way to improve.

The page is:
http://www.automaticaffiliateweapon.com

Thanks,
Jason Cooper

As for me it's a nice clean layout but maybe You should add more info about those affiliate programs. It should attract more peoples to subscribe.

Looks good! Very clean and easy to read.

Regarding double and single opt-in, I suggest you read this: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=234634

Quote:
Benefits of Double Opt-In:

"You reduce the risk that someone will forge addresses, especially to
trivial or offensive newsletters and email-marketing lists."

"You also reduce the risk of being labeled a spammer and losing your
Internet service, because you can show that every recipient asked to
be there."

"Your subscriber base is more valuable to advertisers because they
also know that subscribers are there by choice, not chance."

Moving onto the benefits of single opt in Ezine-Tips had this to say:

"You can build a list much faster if you send a subscriber
confirmation rather than waiting for subscribers to confirm. Some
figures show only 50 percent or fewer subscribers confirm."

"Single opt-in works for newsletters that appeal to a niche or tightly
focused market that pranksters are less likely to frequent."

Hope that helps

quick thoughts:
loads real fast, that's great
at first (first two seconds) I'd think that it's one those 2 or 3 page salesletters that do nothing but promote their own product. then I read down and I see "free...newsletter" and I stay (I do subscribe to ezines).
it does grab my attention
it's very clean and focused

if it helps any I'll subscribe to the ezine and send you my 2 cents

also, a site does probably the best job of promoting their ezine is wilsonweb.com it promotes it's ezine at every opportunity, but not in an annoying way. and it's always giving away something "free", or "in addition to" for signing up

good work

Default Review

It has an impact, is sophisticated. Love the shadows. However, i would use less bold so that the things you want viewers to focus on most stand out better from the others. Cool design, quite original.
