Default New layout

I was thinking toaday about redesigning my website. I wanted to make something more colorful than only different shades of grey. And I came out with this. I would like to hear your comments, before i start coding it.

Looks pretty nice.

I reckon you should play around with the green color. Not that it looks bad but to see if any colors work better then it.

I was trying different colors for that and only with green and orang it looks good. My wife like it better with green so this part of the layout is out of disccusion

And now I'm confused ... I've decided to keep old layout because I tought it's to much work with implementing new one. But in last couple days few people asked me when I will add this new one. So now I really don't know what should I do

ask your wife . What I would do is set-up your site so you can upload a new website easier. That way it takes seconds to ad a fresh new view. The last update on my site I have added that feature and it worked great for x-mas as I gave it a new look for the holidays and switched it back when the holidays where done. Even if you dont do anything special for the holidays you will always think about giving it a new look after a year or two because it is looking boring to you again. Kinda like a new car after your lease is up or you finished paying for it most people trade it in because they want something new.
